Pre-professional training designed to build strength, precision, artistry, and kinesthetic awareness.
"Train with intention."
Giselle Bain is a professional dancer and choreographer passionate about helping dancers move smarter and more efficiently. Trained at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMCVPA), her practice is rooted in contemporary release and shaped by her ongoing exploration of the body's potential.
Drawing from her own journey as a performer, Giselle works to share the kind of information she wishes she had earlier — knowledge that promotes kinesthetic awareness, supports technique, and prevents unnecessary stress, fatigue, and injury. She's especially driven to bridge the gap for younger dancers in Jamaica, many of whom lack access to safe, effective training methods.
Giselle has taught at Praise Academy of Dance, been a student lecturer at EMCVPA, and choreographed for OBOG Dance Company and taught the adult beginner class at the CDT School. She is currently a member of CDT (formerly The Company Dance Theatre), though she's on a break while recovering from knee surgery.
Her one-on-one sessions create space for dancers to connect with their bodies more intentionally — discovering what works best for them, both artistically and anatomically.
